流行曲跟卡通一樣, 是最會出賣年紀的產物。
還是中學生的朋友最近突然在facebook上轉發了Marit Larsen的一首歌, 我驚喜發現原來現在的中學生也認識Marit Larsen, 馬上問她是不是也知道M2M, 她說沒聽過... 情況如同老師有次問我有沒有聽過梁雁翎, 我尷尬地說名字都沒聽過, 讓她不禁汗顏。
M2M是十多年前大紅的挪威女子組合, Marit Larsen和Marion Raven是兒時玩伴, 大家同樣會唱歌, 玩樂器, 一起夥拍成二人組合M2M。現在一算才發現她們出道時才不過十四五歲。Marit 一頭亮麗的金色短髮和Marion棕色長直髮, 兩位美少女一唱一和, 是足以讓人忘憂的清純 (有如當年初出道的twins)。
我是從discman裡認識M2M的。遠在沒有MP3的年代, 把同學借我M2M第一張專輯Shades of Purple放在房間的discman裡, discman的設計雖然已經比較輕巧, 但要攜帶出外還是不太方便, 所以主要都是在家裡聽。一按shuffle, 十幾首歌不停重覆隨機播放, 直到專輯裡面的歌都滾瓜爛熟也不會生厭。又過了一段時間, 竟然讓我在大陸找到M2M第二張專輯The Big Room, 大概是翻版的緣故, CD莫名其妙也包括了第一張專輯裡的全部歌曲, 正合我意。
於是discman裡有段時間, 就只播於她們的那(兩)張專輯, 於是一首一首的, M2M的歌我基本上都會唱。她們的大紅作品the day you went away, 還有 mirror mirror等, 我想我是過了無論幾年一聽還是可以瑯瑯上口的。
兩位女生後來長大了, 組合也解散了。曾失去方向的兩人現在各自發展自己的音樂路, 明天再說蛻變後的Marit Larsen。
